Episode 67: The Whale Tail

I'm joined this week by Frank A. Rincon from a Half Hour Wasted podcast. We talk about what to watch post Lost. I also get to know Frank as we discuss a couple of Vertigo titles he's read. We have a lot of differences over TV, comic books, and movies yet we manage to get along well and have a lot of fun.

There's a few news items this week. We cover and discuss digital comics and a recent DC exclusive. We finally talk about 100 Bullets: First Shot, Last Call (Brian Azzarello, Eduardo Risso).

Episode 66: How, White Man

In this episode, I talk about my first experience doing a video podcast with my friends and how fun it was. Watch it if you want to see what I look like and listen to a bunch of entertaining arguments. That causes me to spend a few minutes talking about the part of gaming I love.

This week's review, Scalped: Casino Boogie (Jason Aaron, R.M. Guera), gets me to reminisce about my favorite CCG ever and one that's relatable to the book. Listen to me struggle as I try to explain what the hard to decipher Scalped is about.

Episode 65: Series Finales

I know it's been about a month since the TV season has ended, but I can finally talk about a couple of series that wrapped up. I spend about 10 minutes talking about the disappointments, greatness and comparisons. So spoilers for Lost, 24, and Supernatural.

There's actually some news this week. Lastly, I cover the always fun and sometimes strange Jack of Fables (Bill Willingham, Matthew Sturges).

Episode 64: Comparisons

I'm not alone this week as I'm joined by Amanda. We discuss Death: The High Cost of Living (Neil Gaiman) and she helps me understand it and The Sandman in general. We do also get a bit off topic. It wouldn't be a show otherwise. Lastly, there are tons of comparisons, including but not limited to: Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Sword of Truth.
