Episode 71: Unchrasimatic

I quickly start things off quoting the awesomeness that is Transformers. Yes, I'm still playing the game. I then give you that Predators review I promised along with what makes a good and bad sequel and the directions they can go in.

Since San Diego Comic-Con just wrapped up, there's plenty of news this week. A lot of it is sad when dealing with the best imprint out there. I finish the show talking about the soon to finish Air: Pureland (G. Willow Wilson, M.K. Perker).

Episode 70: 10 Year Reunion

In this episode, I recap my recent reunion. Man I'm old. I had a lot of fun and a lot of drinks for me. If there's one thing I learned it was the Class of 2000 is the marrying class except for me.

There's some good and some bad news this week when it comes to Vertigo. I then take another step closer to finishing Vertigo's backbone series by reviewing and enjoying The Sandman: Worlds' End (Neil Gaiman).

Episode 69: Mudslides

Since everyone else is talking about it, I also talk about "His Holiness" LeBron James and the NBA free agency. Thanks to them, I'll be rooting for the Lakers in the Finals. I feel dirty.

There's a couple of news items this week including San Diego Comic Con's Vertigo line-up and a new contest. Hurry up and enter before it's over.

I start one of the last series I'm going to read before ending this show in Transmetropolitan: Back on the Street by Warren Ellis, Darick Robertson. I enjoy it so much I forget to give a summary of what the story is or maybe it's the alcohol in my system.

Episode 68: Transform and Roll Out

As you might suspect, I talk about my love and gush over Transformers: War for Cybertron. Transforming is so much fun. You don't get that in other shooters.

Since there's no news this week, I review the first two issues of a non-Vertigo comic that was sent to me--I Kill Shakespeare. It's like a Vertigo comic without the branding. You can't go wrong with that.

Lastly, I cover the best Ghostbusters book on the market--The Exterminators: Insurgency (Simon Oliver, Tony Moore). However, this book is more disturbing and with hotter chicks. Sad this book ended prematurely.
