Episode 112: The Mass Effect of Comic Con

Good morning everyone! I delve into talking about my limited experience with the overrated Mass Effect 1. I also compare the differences between Mass Effect and Dragon Age Origins.

Because of some tiny convention this week, I believe it’s called San Diego Comic Con, there’s plenty of news. I go over the panels I wasn’t able to attend and the upcoming books. I’m one step closer to the end of Fables by reviewing Fables: The Good Prince (Bill Willingham, Mark Buckingham).

Episode 111: One More Thing!

I’m back! I talk about the recent changes in Netflix subscriptions and how it’s not that big a deal. But people like to whine about things being taken away anyway. Also, Jackie Chan Adventures is on their stream so you should watch it. Hi-yah!

If you’re going to San Diego Comic Con, check out the Vertigo panels, and pick me up the Back to the Future exclusive. I then delve into the slice-of-life book, Daytripper (Fabio Moon, Gabriel Ba), which is not as boring as it sounds.

Episode 71: Unchrasimatic

I quickly start things off quoting the awesomeness that is Transformers. Yes, I'm still playing the game. I then give you that Predators review I promised along with what makes a good and bad sequel and the directions they can go in.

Since San Diego Comic-Con just wrapped up, there's plenty of news this week. A lot of it is sad when dealing with the best imprint out there. I finish the show talking about the soon to finish Air: Pureland (G. Willow Wilson, M.K. Perker).

Episode 69: Mudslides

Since everyone else is talking about it, I also talk about "His Holiness" LeBron James and the NBA free agency. Thanks to them, I'll be rooting for the Lakers in the Finals. I feel dirty.

There's a couple of news items this week including San Diego Comic Con's Vertigo line-up and a new contest. Hurry up and enter before it's over.

I start one of the last series I'm going to read before ending this show in Transmetropolitan: Back on the Street by Warren Ellis, Darick Robertson. I enjoy it so much I forget to give a summary of what the story is or maybe it's the alcohol in my system.
