Episode 97: Welcome to Americana

Because I see patterns where there are none, I see things happening in the world controlled by a certain, powerful group. I also drop some history knowledge, or try to. I talk about something I never would have thought possible—Facebook games.

While I’ve enjoyed Jack of Fables, I don't enjoy Jack of Fables: Americana (Bill Willingham, Matthew Sturges). It’s a set-up for some crossover done in the worst way. There are far too many new questions and no answers. And like this show, things don’t quite make sense.

Episode 91: Throat of Mystery

I know I normally say, “It’s going to be a short show,” but this time it actually is. My throat’s sore from lack of sleep and playing Def Jam Rapstar. That means less bad singing and impersonations. I do manage to squeeze in a few minutes talking about my new favorite game, Game Dev Story.

Since I’m a fair man, I do give the House of Mystery series another chance. I cover House of Mystery: Love Stories for Dead People (Matthew Sturges, Luca Rossi). If only House of Mystery was two separate books, I would thoroughly enjoy one.

Episode 65: Series Finales

I know it's been about a month since the TV season has ended, but I can finally talk about a couple of series that wrapped up. I spend about 10 minutes talking about the disappointments, greatness and comparisons. So spoilers for Lost, 24, and Supernatural.

There's actually some news this week. Lastly, I cover the always fun and sometimes strange Jack of Fables (Bill Willingham, Matthew Sturges).
